ADSL
Updated: 06/22/2024 by Computer Hope
Short for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line or asymmetric DSL, ADSL is a form of DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) broadband. ADSL is asymmetric because of its two-way bandwidth devoted to the downstream and a small section devoted to upstream transfers. The smaller upstream resulting in a higher download transfer rate, often up to 6.1 megabits per second.
