How to use the Alt+L keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Alt key, and while continuing to hold, press L.
Alt+L in Microsoft Excel
In Microsoft Excel, pressing Alt+L opens the Developer tab in the Ribbon. After pressing the shortcut, press an additional key to select an option in the Developer tab. For example, after pressing Alt+L, you could press V to open Visual Basic for Applications.
Using Alt+L in PuTTY
With PuTTY, Alt+L makes a word lowercase.
