How to use the Alt+Shift+1 keyboard shortcut
To use the keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Alt and Shift key, and while continuing to hold, press 1.
Alt+Shift+1 in Google Sheets
Pressing Alt+Shift+1 in a Google Sheets spreadsheet add a border on the top of selected cells.
Note
This keyboard shortcut only adds a border to one edge of a cell. To add a border to all edges, use Alt+Shift+7.
