Back-facing camera

Alternatively known as a rear-facing camera, a back-facing camera is on the back of a smartphone, tablet, or other device that points away from the user. It has the same orientation as a regular camera and is the standard camera on a cell phone. The back-facing camera nearly always has a higher megapixel count than a front-facing camera and is the primary camera used to take pictures.
Pictured is an example of the two rear-facing cameras found on the iPhone X smartphone.
