Bottom row keys
The bottom row keys are the ten keys found below the home row keys on a QWERTY US keyboard. The bottom row keys include the Z, X, C, V, and B keys for the left hand and N, M, comma, period, and forward slash keys for the right hand.
In the picture above, the hands are positioned on the home row keys, and the bottom row keys are below the home row keys. With a Dvorak keyboard, the top row keys are Q, J, K, and X keys with the left hand, and B, M, W, V, and Z keys with the right hand.
What are all of the keys on the bottom row of the keyboard?
If you go from the left side of the keyboard to the right side of the keyboard, the bottom row has the following keys.
- Left Shift key
- On a Qwerty keyboard the letter keys Z, X, C, V, B, N, and M
- Less than (<) and comma (,) key
- Greater than (>) and period (.) key
- Question mark (?) and forward slash (/) key
- Right Shift key
What are the rows above and below the bottom row keys?
The bottom row keys are above the spacebar row and below the home row keys.
Some may refer to the row with the spacebar as the bottom row because it's the closest row to the bottom. However, we define the row with the spacebar as the spacebar row.
