Cancel may refer to any of the following:
1. Cancel is a button or option that lets you exit a program or dialog box and not save any of the changes made.
Cancel key
The Esc key can also be used to cancel the loading in programs. For example, if a web page is having difficulty loading, press the Esc to cancel the loading process.
Cancel shortcut
In the command line to cancel or stop a running command press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C.
