Catalyst

Catalyst may refer to any of the following:
1. A software suite for Linux and Microsoft Windows included with ATI Radeon video cards that include video drivers and the CCC (Catalyst Control Center). Users looking to download Catalyst drivers can find downloads through ATI downloads page found through our video drivers guide.

On November 2, 2015, AMD announced that the Catalyst drivers are now going to be known as Crimson.
2. With chemistry, a catalyst is any substance that remains the same while accelerating a chemical reaction.
