A cell style may refer to any of the following:
1. In Microsoft Excel, cell style refers to the various appearances that can be applied to a cell or the text contained in it. Some style elements include background color of the cell, border style for the cell, font type, font size, bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, and others.
2. In web development, an HTML (HyperText Markup Language) table can have different cell styles applied to them using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). These cells can include many of the same styles as are applicable with Microsoft Excel and other features for changing the style of a cell.
