How to fix a static resource conflict

Static resource conflicts are caused when one or more devices are conflicting with another device. If you have recently added a device to your computer, remove the device from the computer. If this resolves your issue, see if the applicable device has different settings either using jumpers, dip switches, or through the devices software.
What causes this error?
- A device in your computer that causes IRQ (Interrupt ReQuest) or DMA (Direct Memory Access) is conflicting.
- Hardware misreporting information about hardware.
- CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) configuration problem, which could be the CMOS battery in your computer is jumbled or damaged. Clearing or resetting CMOS may resolve the issue.
