How to fix the missing install font option in Windows

If the "install font" option is missing in Windows, follow these steps.

Use TweakUI

Open the repair tab in TweakUI and select the option to repair the fonts folder.

Reset Fonts folder

Click Start, Shutdown, and Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode. Windows Me users need to boot from a bootable floppy diskette.

At the C:\> prompt, type in the following commands.

cd\windows <press Enter>
attrib -r -a -s -h fonts <press Enter>
attrib +s fonts <press Enter>
press Ctrl+Alt+Del and reboot the computer.
