How to prevent Windows 98 DVD player from loading

Run regedit, then locate and delete the key below from the registry.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DVD\shell\play\command
Or point it to the DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) player you want to play your DVD movies.
