Connections not correctly connected

Verify the monitor or another display device is connected correctly to the computer. If everything is connected, verify the cable and the connection on the back of the computer are not damaged or bad.

BIOS setup needs to be updated

Enter BIOS setup and verify the settings relating to your video card are properly set. If settings appear to be correct or once the video card is changed in the BIOS, save the values, and exit the BIOS setup.

Potential conflict or hardware related issue

If any hardware was recently added to the computer, we recommend it be removed.
