How to change the title of an MS-DOS window

In Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP and above, users can change their MS-DOS window title using the MS-DOS title command. By default, the Windows command prompt window shows "Command Prompt," as seen in the picture.
If you wanted to change the name of an MS-DOS or Windows command line window to "Computer Hope," type the command shown in the example below.

Changing the title of your window is a great way to know what is in each command line window if you have multiple command lines open.
