Why do Outlook attachments appear at the bottom?
Updated: 07/13/2023 by Computer Hope
Microsoft Outlook only places attachments at the bottom pane of an e-mail if the message is in "HTML" or "plain text" format. If you want your attachments to be placed in the body of an e-mail, compose it in "Rich Text" format. To change the format of your Microsoft Outlook e-mails, follow the steps below.
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Click the Tools menu and then Options.
- Click the Mail Format tab.
- Click the down arrow on Send in this message format and select Microsoft Outlook Rich Text.
