Getting BIOS not installed message as the computer boots
Updated: 12/05/2021 by Computer Hope
The "BIOS not installed" message is generated by computers with SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) or RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) controllers when no bootable drive is detected. You shouldn't encounter this message unless you have a bootable drive on the SCSI or RAID, or you want to use a SCSI or RAID drive.
If you're not using a SCSI or RAID drive and your computer has an onboard SCSI or RAID controller, this message can be disabled in your BIOS setup.
