How to remove a network drive in Windows

To remove or delete a network share or drive in Windows, follow the steps below.

  1. Open Windows Explorer and find the share.
  2. Highlight the share.
  3. Press the Delete key on the keyboard.

or

  1. Open My Computer.
  2. Right-click the network drive.
  3. Click Disconnect.
