Aztech CD-ROM doesn't work with IBM Dala-3450 hard drive

Updated: 05/04/2019 by Computer Hope

This conflict may occur if the pulse width for DASP (Drive Active Slave Present) signal is incompatible with an IBM hard drive, which requires a minimum of 400ms timing. This incompatibility results in the improper detection of Aztech IDE (Integrated Development Environment) CD-ROM (Compact Disc Read-Only Memory) drive. To fix this problem update the CD-ROM's firmware, which is located at the Aztech support site.
