Where is Outlook Express in Windows Vista and later versions?

Microsoft introduced Windows Mail with the release of Windows Vista and has included this program in each later version of Windows. To use a Microsoft mail program while in Windows, you must now use this program.

You can access this program by following the steps below for your version of Windows.

Windows 8 and 10

1. Click Start.
2. Type "mail" and press Enter.

Or

1. Click Start.
2. Find and click the Mail program in the Start menu program list.

Windows Vista and 7

1. Click Start.
2. Click the Run option.
3. Type "mail" and press Enter.

Or

1. Click Start.
2. Click All programs or Programs.
3. Find and click the Mail program in the list.
