Getting a black screen when trying to run Lands of Lore Guardians of Destiny

It's possible that the video card is not able to display at 600 x 400. You can see if this applies to you by running the LOLG setup utility. Or run the setup and set the default display to 640 x 480. If this does allow you to get into the game or if all else fails, try updating your video card drivers.

Sound not working

Make sure your sound card is 100% compatible with one of the sound cards on the back of the box. If compatibility is confirmed, run the setup in C:\WESTWOOD\LOLG folder, and set the IRQ (interrupt request), DMA (direct memory access), and Port to the correct settings.
