When clicking the install button, the game locks

First, ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. If you are attempting to run Afterlife from Windows 95/98, ensure there are no applications running in the background.

If you meet the system requirements and removing TSRs from the computer does not resolve the issue, attempt to create a bootable diskette to run the game.
