Help with the Half-Life series of computer games

How can I check the version of Half-Life?

Right-click the hl.exe file and select Properties. In Properties, you can see the version you are currently running.

I'm stuck and cannot move

If your player is stuck, we recommend you first attempt to crouch, jump, or do a combination of both. If your character still does not move, we recommend you cheat using the no clipping option, allowing you to walk through objects. Once you are in a suitable location, disable the cheat.

I've lost my CD key. Can you give me a new one?

The CD key is on the back of the Half-Life jewel case. If you have lost the jewel case or you are no longer able to locate the CD key, we recommend you contact Sierra for additional support. Computer Hope cannot provide a new CD key.

Sound is gone after switching from Half-Life to other programs?

The sound automatically pauses if you exit from Half-Life. To restore the sound, press the Esc key to open the Half-Life menu, and resume the game. Once completed, the sound should be restored.
