Help with the WarCraft series of games
Below are troubleshooting steps for the original WarCraft and WarCraft II video games released by Blizzard.
WarCraft
Mouse is not working correctly
Verify the latest mouse driver is installed on the computer.
Getting memory errors
Ensure you are not running any TSRs if you're running WarCraft in Windows 95 or Windows 98. If you continue to run into problems in the game, you may need to make a boot disk.
WarCraft II
Difficulty with your sound card
Verify the correct drivers are loading and ensure you have the correct specifications. Also, see the included readme.txt file that includes many of the most common problems and how to resolve them.
When attempting to run get "ISO-9660" error
An ISO-9660 error is usually caused by CD-ROM (Compact Disc Read-Only Memory) or CD-ROM driver; ensure you are running version 2.20 of Mscdex.exe by going to DOS and typing mscdex. If you're running 2.20 or later and it is still giving you the ISO-9660 error, your CD-ROM may be conflicting because it may be the older High-Sierra Standard.
I am not able to end level five
More than likely you have not killed all the units; therefore, it is not ending. Press the Tab key to get rid of fog on the mini map and look for the gray character.
