How to uninstall DirectX

DirectX is an extension of the video card and sound card drivers and should not be uninstalled, as it could cause additional issues with your computer system.

Uninstalling DirectX could cause your system to not boot properly, as many video adapters are reliant on DirectX. If you are encountering issues with DirectX, we recommend you update or reinstall the latest version of DirectX, rather than uninstalling altogether.
