Why is Apple called Apple?

Earlier in Steve Jobs life he worked in an apple orchard and came to the belief that the apple was the perfect fruit. The apple came in the perfect package, delivered high nutrients, and did not damage easily. With this belief and the help of Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, Apple Computer was found on April 1, 1976.

Apple Computer, Inc. was later incorporated on January 3, 1977, and as Apple began to move into more than only computers was renamed to Apple Inc. on January 9, 2007.
