When you update Windows 10 to version 20H2, you may notice a few new features. One is that pressing the keyboard shortcut Alt+Tab now cycles not only through Windows programs, but also the individual Microsoft Edge browser tabs currently open.

While it's nice to have the option, some users prefer only full programs showing when they press Alt+Tab. The following section shows you how to enable and disable Microsoft Windows cycling through Edge browser tabs when using this keyboard shortcut.

Tip

In most Internet browsers, Ctrl+T is the keyboard shortcut to open a new tab.
