How to find the ChromeOS version on a Chromebook

Click Settings and select About ChromeOS, or press the Launcher key on the keyboard and type about and click About ChromeOS from the results. After you've performed either of these actions, you'll be presented with the About ChromeOS window, as shown below.
As shown in the screenshot above, the version information is displayed on the first line. In this example, the ChromeOS version is 116.0.5845.168, an official build running on a 64-bit processor.

- See what's new - See what has changed from the previous version of ChromeOS.
- Get help with ChromeOS - Open the Google ChromeOS help section.
- Send feedback - Send feedback to Google.
- Diagnostics - Open a diagnostics screen to get information that may help troubleshoot a problem.
- Firmware updates - Get firmware updates for your laptop, if available.
- Additional details - Display additional details about the laptop.
