A circle may refer to any of the following:

Blue circle

1. When describing a shape, a circle is a round shape with no corners or edges. In graphics programs like Microsoft Paint, a circle is one of the shapes available in the Shapes section. The shape shown on this page is an example of a circle filled with blue.

Tip

In most programs that support the ability to create a circle shape, pressing Shift while creating the circle keeps it perfectly circular.

2. When discussing a social network, a circle was a section that could be created in Google+ for friends and family. These circles helped break up your friends into more personalized spaces.
