Civilization II is an excellent strategy game, which is almost equal to or better than its predecessor, Civilization.
Civilization II improves on many of the issues that Civilization contained, while it continues to keep the simplicity with an easy-to-use interface.
MicroProse released a multiplayer version of the game as well, titled Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition. This version includes the Civilization II expansion packs, titled Civilization II: Conflicts in Civilization and Civilization II: Fantastic Worlds. The music tracks from the original released version of Civilization II are not included, however.
