CleanWipe

The program CleanWipe was created to fully remove Symantec software from a computer or remnants of Symantec software previously uninstalled.
CleanWipe is needed when uninstalling Symantec software does not completely remove all files and is causing problems when trying to install new software. CleanWipe is now included with a full install of Symantec Endpoint Protection, but you can download it on Broadcom's knowledge site.
Tip
It's recommended that users run CleanWipe in Windows Safe Mode so that no Symantec software is stored or cached when CleanWipe attempts to remove it.
