Close Combat is an excellent war game for any strategy game players. Close Combat is about the Americans' advancement from the Omaha beachhead to the town of St. Lo, following the D-Day invasion of France in World War 2. In Close Combat, the player can control riflemen, machine-gunners, mortar teams, and other units.
