How to use the Command+5 keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Command key, and while continuing to hold, press 5.
For this shortcut to work, use 5 above the top row keys, not on the numeric keypad.
Command+5 in an Internet browser
With all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), pressing Command+5 switches to the fifth tab.
Command+5 in Microsoft Word
In Microsoft Word, pressing Command+5 changes a line, paragraph, or all highlighted text to have 1.5 spaces between each line.
You may also press Command+1 to set the line spacing to single, or Command+2 to set it to double spacing.
