How to use the Command+R keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Command key, and while continuing to hold, press R.
Command+R in macOS
In Apple's macOS, pressing Command+R shows the original file for the alias that is currently selected.
Command+R in an Internet browser
In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera), pressing Command+R refreshes (reloads) the current web page.
Command+R in Excel and other spreadsheet programs
In Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs, pressing Command+R fills the row cell(s) to the right with the contents of the selected cell. To fill more than one cell, select the source cell and press Option+Shift+Right arrow to select additional ones. Then, press Command+R to fill them with the contents of the original cell.
Using the Command+D shortcut fills a column instead of a row.
