Command+T in macOS
In Apple's macOS, pressing Command+T opens the Recents folder.
Command+T in an Internet browser
In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), pressing Command+T opens a new tab.
Command+T in Excel and other spreadsheet programs
