Co-op

Co-op may refer to any of the following:

1. Co-op is short for cooperative and describes when two or more people do something together. See our collaboration page for further related information.

2. When describing a game, a co-op game is a subset of multiplayer games where two, three, four, or six players play the same game at the same time.

Note

In a multiplayer game you're playing with dozens, hundreds, or thousands of other players. It's important to realize that although a game may be a multiplayer game it may not support co-op play. Additionally, a game may support co-op but not be a multiplayer game.

3. With a business or job, co-op describes a type of job or way of doing a job where two or more people work closely together. Co-op also describes co-op education, where a student is trained by combining classroom-based education with real-life work experience.
