Color profile

A color profile is a file containing information about a device's ability to capture or reproduce color. Common devices utilizing a color profile include printers, digital cameras, monitors, and scanners.
Microsoft Windows users can customize or create color profiles for their monitor or supported device by following the steps below.
Windows 8, 10, and 11
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click the Color Management option.
- If shown, check the box for the Use my settings for this device option.
- Click the Add button and add your desired color profile.
Windows 7 and earlier
- Open the Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display or Personalization option.
- Go to Settings and click the Advanced button.
- Click the Color Management tab.
- If shown, check the box for the Use my settings for this device option.
- Click the Add button and add your desired color profile.
