Concept mapping
In the computer world, concept mapping is visualizing how the various aspects of a computer (both hardware and software) interact and affect each other. Concept mapping creates a map with interconnected lines between each aspect of the computer, to help with planning for computer-related projects.
Concept mapping allows a more flexible approach to planning and does not focus on only one aspect or idea. It takes into account many facets, even including the computer user itself and the knowledge and skills they possess (i.e., computer literacy). Concept mapping helped spark creativity an idea generation by visualizing the whole picture.
