Copyleft

A Copyright that preserves rights rather than removing them. Copyleft is a GPL (GNU General Public License) and the FSF (Free Software Foundation) guiding principle. It states that others may copy, modify, and distribute an author's work as long as the same rights are preserved on the modified work.
