CPAN

Short for Comprehensive Perl Archive Network, CPAN is the central place where Perl, Perl modules, and Perl documentation are stored that was introduced on October 26, 1995. Today, CPAN contains thousands of modules and contributors, and is thought of as one of the many strengths of the Perl programming language.
