Creative Cloud
First announced in October 2011, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Creative Cloud, is a cloud-based software as a service offering from Adobe. It grants users access to a collection of Adobe software titles that perform many different tasks. These applications include web development, graphic design, animation, video editing, and photo editing.
How does it work?
The Creative Cloud service requires the user to pay a monthly or annual subscription fee and is available only online. The subscription cost depends on the Adobe software titles selected by the user. Any software included in the user's active subscription may be downloaded from the Internet, and then installed on their devices. Creative Cloud is hosted on Amazon Web Services, is available in multiple languages, and is frequently updated.
On May 6, 2013, Adobe announced they would no longer release new versions of their popular Creative Suite bundles. In the future, Adobe software is only accessible via a Creative Cloud subscription; permanent licenses are no longer available for purchase.
