Electrostatic may refer to any of the following:
1. Electrostatic (singular) is a charge of electricity that doesn't flow through anything and remains in one place. Unlike a dynamic current, electrostatic is fixed and does not move through a conductor.
2. Electrostatics (plural) is a branch of physics that studies stationary or slow-moving electric charges.
