Favorite
Favorite may refer to any of the following:
1. Sometimes abbreviated as fav, a favorite is a feature found in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer that allows a user to save the locations to their favorite Internet locations. Like other browser's bookmarks. To view the favorites in Internet Explorer click the star icon in the top-right corner of the browser window, as shown in the picture.
If you forget to favorite a page and have forgotten the address, you can view your browser history to find the page, then bookmark it. For more information, see: How to create a website using Node.js and Express.
What is a fav or faves?
Fav is an abbreviation used for "favorite" and faves is short for "favorites." Faves was also the name of a social bookmarking website.
2. On macOS, Favorites are shown on the left side of the Finder and allow Apple users to quickly access their favorite folders.
Users more familiar with Windows can think of the Favorites as being the same as Quick access.
How to add a folder to Favorites
A folder can be added to Favorites by opening the folder location and dragging that folder to the left bar in Finder. Alternately, while Finder is open click File in the menu bar at the top of the screen and click Add to Sidebar.
