FCC

Short for Federal Communications Commission, the FCC is a United States government agency that was established in 1934 by the Communications Act. The FCC is in charge of regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.
