Feature complete
Updated: 09/12/2023 by Computer Hope
In software development, the term feature complete refers to an app or program at the point where all planned elements and functionalities are implemented. At this stage, the software contains all essential parts envisioned or specified in the original design goals. A piece of feature-complete software is usually between the alpha and beta stages of the development process.
While feature completion is significant, additional work, such as optimization, security, and usability testing, may be needed before the software is ready for deployment or sale.
