FlexATX is a motherboard form factor specification introduced by Intel in 1999. It builds upon and expands the microATX specification. It uses some of the same mounting holes as microATX motherboards, so that it can be mounted in a microATX chassis. It also uses the same I/O panel specifications as those of ATX motherboards. The maximum size of a FlexATX motherboard is 9" x 7.5" (229 x 191 mm).
