FLV encoder
Updated: 11/12/2023 by Computer Hope
An FLV encoder is a tool for changing video (e.g., AVI, MPEG, and MOV) and audio to the FLV (Flash video) format, native to the Adobe Flash player.
Note
With Adobe Flash Player and the FLV files being discontinued and newer technologies like HTML5 and H.264/AAC being available, FLV encoders are rarely used today.
Examples of FLV encoders and converters
- CloudConvert
- FFmpeg
- Riva FLV Encoder
- Adobe Animate - (once supported FLV files, no longer supported)
