GEM or Graphics Environment Manager interface on an Atari ST computer.

GEM, short for Graphics Environment Manager, was one of the earliest GUI (Graphical User Interface) available. GEM was released by Digital Research on February 28, 1985, and was the primary GUI on early Atari ST computers. It was also an available option on some IBM PC-compatible computers. GEM was also used for the creation of programs in the MS-DOS operating system.
