GrubHub is an online service that helps users purchase food from restaurants. It was founded in 2004 as an alternative to traditional paper take-out menus, often with out-of-date items and prices.
GrubHub users can place orders from the GrubHub website or mobile app for take-out or delivery from a local restaurant. Beginning in 2014, GrubHub began offering its delivery service for restaurants that do not deliver.
Tip
Amazon Prime members can sign up for a free year of GrubHub+, which includes free deliveries on orders over $12 and other exclusive perks and rewards.
