Hand
Hand may refer to any of the following:
1. In graphics editors, the hand tool is a type of mouse pointer. It lets you move the page or image on the screen by clicking and dragging it rather than moving the scrollbars.
Pressing H selects the hand tool in Adobe Photoshop.
In Adobe Photoshop, you can hold down the spacebar to change the mouse cursor to a hand. If the image is larger than the display window, use the hand cursor to move the image. While holding the spacebar, you can click-and-drag the mouse to "grab" the document and reposition it. When the document view is positioned as you want, you can release the mouse button and the spacebar and continue using other tools.
2. Shorthand for have a nice day, HAND is used in chat and other text-based communications as an easy way to tell someone to have a nice day.
3. With a mouse pointer, the pointing hand is a cursor displayed on a computer when hovering over a hyperlink.
4. A hand describes the part of a person's arm beyond the wrist. The hand has a palm, fingers, and thumb. With a computer, the left hand and right hand type on a keyboard, and the right hand also moves the mouse.
A left-handed person may use their left hand to move the mouse.
