Haptic feedback
Updated: 07/06/2021 by Computer Hope
Haptic feedback is a type of technology which creates small vibrations or movements as a response to the actions of a user. This feature is also utilized to make buttons on a touch screen feel more like mechanical buttons. Examples of haptic feedback is found in video game controllers that vibrate when the player is fighting enemies, or smartphone touch screens that vibrate slightly when icons are tapped.
