Short for Help A Reporter Out, HARO was a service started by Peter Shankman that connects bloggers, influencers, journalists, and reporters connect with expert sources. HARO helps writers and content creators get an expert opinion on any topic, and the experts providing the information improve their authoritativeness with their name getting mentioned.
